Leros is one of the twelve islands that consist the Prefecture of the Dodecanese. It lies between the islands of Patmos and Kalymnos, 171 nautical miles east of Piraeus port of Athens. With a coastline of 71 km and a mountainous landscapes, Leros offers sheltered natural bays and many smal beaches with crystal clear waters.

Agriculture and fishing are the main resources for the economy of the island, supported by shops and services.

The development of tourism on Leros is a relatively new which adds to the authenticity and charm of the island making it ideal for those who seek relaxation on a destination unspoiled of tourism.
